Privacy Policy

The company SCILLE (" SCILLE "), publishes the software called PARSEC (" PARSEC ") accessible in as "software as a service" ( https://parsec.cloud ).

This document is dedicated to the protection of privacy (the " Privacy Policy ") of PARSEC, edited by SCILLE, a "SAS" (simplified joint stock company) with a capital of 91.500 euros registered with the "Registre du Commerce et des Société de Bordeaux" under the number 463300010; whose registered office is located at 11 chemin de Jalès – 33160 Saint-Médard-en-Jalles – FRANCE. ("SCILLE").

The director of the publication is Thierry Leblond.

The Site is hosted on the public cloud under the responsibility of SCILLE via Platforms as a Services and Infrastructures as a Service.

The Privacy Policy is an integral part of the T&Cs. Each word defined in the T&Cs has the same meaning in the Privacy Policy.

I. PROCESSING OF USERS' PERSONAL DATA

By browsing or using the Site, and creating an Account, PARSEC Users must validate the Privacy Policy via a checkbox "I accept without reservation the Privacy Policy of PARSEC" and thus agree to be bound by it.

The Privacy Policy may be changed or updated at any time without notice. Any modifications or updates will be posted on the Site.

SCILLE collects and uses the Personal Data that the Users have transmitted to it spontaneously when creating an Account or when subscribing to a Subscription. SCILLE may collect and keep certain data in order to prevent fraud.

2. Nature of Personal Data Collected

Users of the Site and PARSEC are required to provide accurate and truthful Personal Data and to update them as soon as necessary so that they remain accurate and complete.

SCILLE collects and treats the Personal Data of the Users in a fair and lawful way and respecting their rights.

Within the framework of its activities, SCILLE is led to collect Personal Data following :

Personal Data is collected when the User uses the services of the Site and PARSEC, in particular to create an Account or to contact customer service. Scille does not collect any payment information: this information is delegated to a dedicated service. ( https://stripe.com/en ).

3. Protection, storage and deletion of Personal Data

The Personal Data communicated by the Users are hosted by SCILLE on the PARSEC website and are available to marketing and customer service.

SCILLE makes every effort to avoid any interference with the Personal Data of the Users, such as loss, misappropriation, trespass, unauthorized disclosure, alteration or the destruction of personal data.

Except in the event of legal provisions imposing a specific retention period, the Personal Data of the Users will be retained for the duration of the Subscription and will then be destroyed one month after unsubscribing. There is no hosted prospecting data available on the Site.

The User may request the deletion of his Account at any time from SCILLE. Without prejudice the stipulations related to the conservation of Personal Data, the deletion of the Account will be made within one (1) month of such request.

4. Communication from SCILLE

SCILLE will communicate with Users via PARSEC Data Browser notifications.

SCILLE will be able to send to Users who have accepted it e-mails to their e-mail address. to inform them of important developments at PARSEC, or to communicate information to them of a technical or administrative nature.

5. Transfer of Personal Data

SCILLE may transmit the Personal Data of the Users upon request of the Competent authorities within the framework of the applicable law.

If the provider, recipient of the Personal Data, is located outside the European Union, or it is located in a country benefiting from a Commission adequacy finding; or European or SCILLE will make sure of the appropriate guarantees of this service provider with regard to the requirements of the GDPR.

For this reason, SCILLE informs the Customer and/or the User that it refrains from transmit their Personal Data to partners or third parties for advertising purposes. SCILLE commits to not communicate, assign or transfer to third parties the Personal Data without express consent of the Users.

SCILLE may communicate the Personal Data of the Users if the law requires it or if it is necessary to do so on judicial or administrative request.

6. Users' Rights to their Personal Data

In accordance with the applicable legislation and regulations on data protection, SCILLE informs the Users of their right to access, modify and request the deletion of the Personal Data, collected and processed, it being specified that the deletion of the Personal Data will result in the closure of their Account, and of their obtain the communication in a structured and readable format (unless legitimately prevented). The Users also have the right to oppose or request the limitation of the treatment of their Personal Data.

Users also have the right to file a complaint with an authority of control and define guidelines for their digital will.

Users have the right to withdraw their consent at any time, when it has been requested, it being specified that any previous processing will remain lawful.

II. COOKIE POLICY USED BY SCILLE

1. cookies

A cookie is a file that can be saved on the hard disk of the User's terminal during the use of PARSEC. These small files may contain, for example, preferences of the User.

SCILLE can deposit cookies on the Users' terminals in order to allow them to navigate in optimal conditions, save User profiles and restore their preferences when they are connected via their usual terminal or to perform statistics.

2. Type of cookies used via PARSEC

SCILLE uses cookies:

Third party cookies are those sent by trusted third party partners.

Users must accept the deposit of cookies on their terminal through the banner provided at this effect when they connect to PARSEC.

SCILLE does not keep cookies allowing the traceability of a User beyond 1 month after the first deposit in a User's terminal.

Users can delete cookies at any time from their browser software and configure it to prevent them from being registered on their terminal.

SCILLE prompts them to refer to the help file of their navigation software to set the appropriate configuration. Browsing PARSEC without accepting cookies may be degraded.

3. Traffic

Traffic data is generated when the User's terminal is connected to the Internet and PARSEC.

These data may be used for statistical purposes to conduct analyses of PARSEC and to improve them by adapting them to the needs of the User or obtaining the IP addresses of the Users. Traffic data is never exploited by name by SCILLE
